As the AWS platform is a public cloud, all functions of all its services are available via programmable application interfaces (API), making it perfectly suitable for automating our entire implemented system infrastructure.
With the help of the Infrastructure as code templates, we can define, create, duplicate and modify our systems as template code, all of this documented and versioned by the templates, and the process of each change can be well controlled by inserting a CI/CD system. As a result, our application platform also has reproducibility, testability and controls known from software processes. Temporary environments can be built for our application, in which automatic tests can be run for early detection of errors or code quality deterioration. System-level messages received during operation can be automatically classified according to criticality, and then they can be handled by enabling automatic escalation or even automatic repair.
During the planning, design and operation of the systems, TC2 provides a prominent role for code-based infrastructure development and automation-supported operation.

24/7 Managed Services
Although operation and support go hand in hand, ensuring the proper and efficient functioning of the system does not require 24/7 service, in contrast to support, whose failure-related tasks - troubleshooting, fault escalation, problem management, disaster prevention - require high availability due to their criticality. And of course, a 24/7 on-call support according to ITIL regulations requires at least 5 qualified support professionals due to the 3 shifts, vacations, and illnesses.
