Alliance Head, Co-founder
György ÁKOS graduated in the Budapest University of Technology Faculty of Electrical Engineering in 1979. Having finished the domestic and foreign employment, the 80s was completed in the field of computerized process control. Then, in the early 90s he was in charge of managing Phare and World Bank projects. From 1994, he worked for 12 years at IBM Hungary Ltd. in leading positions of sales, services and business development. In 2006, he was invited to apply for Chief Executive Officer of Synergon Information Systems Plc.'s, thereafter in 2007, he was entrusted with the leadership of the Hungarian subsidiary of EMC. In October 2010, his new job was to lead the former Sun Microsystems organization just acquired by Oracle. From 2013 he is re-employed as a consultant helping for the Governmental Information-Technology Development Agency in projects financed by the European Union.
He is one of the founders’ of the TC2, responsible for the AWS partnership, but sales and business development activities are also part of his work.
Besides professional education he studied at INSEAD Business School and Faculty of Business at Cranfield School of Management (UK).
